13 Reasons Why's Brandon Flynn Goes Shirtless For 'The Hero Winter Annual'

Brandon Flynn is showing off his shirtless body for the first issue of The HERO Winter Annual magazine!

The 13 Reasons Why actor was interviewed by his co-star Alisha Boe for the mag. Here’s what they had to share:

On their first impressions of each other: Alisha – “I remember the first time we met. We were doing a rehearsal scene with Tom McCarthy, and it was the scene when I come up to the door in the second episode, and I’m like, [screaming] ‘Where have you been? How could you do this to me, you’re such an asshole,’ yadda yadda… I remember my first impression of you was like, ‘OK yeah this guy is a dick.’”

Brandon - “I guess [my impression] was kinda similar, I didn’t think that you were interested in getting to know new people. It scared the fuck out of me, because I was like, ‘Oh great, I’m gonna be here for six months and I think most of my work is with this girl.’”

Brandon on the beauty of the show and social media: “I think a lot of the people on board [with 13 Reasons Why] really have found this beautiful relationship with social media and with viewers, bringing awareness. Honestly, that feeling and that responsibility is something I’m always going to try and navigate because it’s a weird one. Trying to do that and being that kind of person who has a voice, I stay up at night thinking if I’d make a good parent. Because how do you tell people what to do? It’s something at 24 I never thought I’d be grappling with, but people really do pay attention, they look up to what you give to the world and that is really special. I’ve always wanted to give to the world, just like my friends gave so much to me.”

Emilia Clarke Fires Back at 'Game of Thrones' Racy Scene Critics

Emilia Clarke is surrounded by flowers on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s December/January issue.

Here’s what the 31-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On nudity in Game of Thrones: “I’m starting to get really annoyed about this stuff now because people say, ‘Oh, yeah, all the porn sites went down when Game of Thrones came back on… There are so many shows centered around this very true fact that people reproduce. People f**k for pleasure—it’s a part of life.”

On not having the ‘right look’ as an actress: “It pushed me into another casting type; forced me to be an actor. Instead of playing Juliet and doing the light, airy stuff, I would be the granny who cracks wise, or a down-and-out hooker who has seen better days.”

On worrying about how others perceived her at the start of her career: “I think in the early days I second-guessed everyone. I mean, I do that in life anyway, but especially with fame and become successful, and strangers knowing you more than your circle of friends, I would worry about what people thought of me. Then you get to a point where you’re like, ‘You know what? I’m okay.”

FYI: Emilia is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress on the cover.

Armie Hammer Talks Hollywood's Sexual Misconduct Double Standard, Calls Out Casey Affleck's Oscar Win

Armie Hammer shows off his biceps on the cover of THR‘s new issue.

Here’s what the 31-year-old Call Me By Your Name actor had to share:

On Nate Parker and Casey Affleck‘s sexual misconduct allegations: ““Nate had the stuff in his past, which is heinous and tough to get beyond. I get that. But that was when he was 18 and now he’s in director jail. At the same time, the guy who went and won an Academy Award has three cases of sexual assault against him. And [Parker] had one incident — which was heinous and atrocious — but his entire life is affected in the worst possible way. And the other guy won the highest award you can get as an actor. It just doesn’t make sense, you know? I’m not saying Nate should not have been in trouble. I’m saying that they got in different levels of trouble. And that’s the disparity. It’s like there are two standards for how to deal with someone who has this kind of issue in their past, you know?”

On sexual abuse in Hollywood: “It’s been permissible for too long for people in positions of power to abuse, and for the powerless to be expected to just take it. The system seems to be shaken, and thank God.”

Adam Driver Reveals How Acting in 'Star Wars' Is Different From Other Movies

Adam Driver is looking very handsome for Esquire‘s December/January issue, on newsstands November 28.

Here’s what the 34-year-old Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor had to share with the mag:

On what it’s like acting in Star Wars: “The thing with Star Wars is that they’re like, ‘Trust us, there is space behind you.’ Or ‘Trust us, your lightsaber will work.’ So a part of the impulse in wanting to see it is because there is so much visual shit going on that I didn’t know what was happening. You know what’s happening in While We’re Young, you know? I did it. We’re in a bike shop. With Star Wars, it’s like, ‘This is…where you meet Snoke.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, it’s kind of like a cave. I get it.’ Or, ‘Oh, that looks like Andy Serkis. I can’t tell.’”

On the only movie he’s ever watched himself in: “The Force Awakens is the only movie I’ve sat with an audience and watched.”

On what it was like knowing his character killed Han Solo and no one in the audience knew yet: “Credits started, the whole scroll at the beginning, and they start screaming, ‘Oh my God! It’s happening.’ And I flash-forward to where I killed Han, and I got really sick, and went really cold, waiting for when it was over.”

Gwen Stefani Reveals What Heartbreak Has Taught Her

Gwen Stefani is on the cover of Marie Claire‘s holiday issue, on newsstands November 28!

Here’s what the 48-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag:

On what she learned from heartbreak: “What I learned was that my heartbreak was supposed to happen, that it was my purpose to write about and share my story. I met at least 50 to 100 people before each show on my tour and got to hear that my truth and my story translated, and I feel very lucky and honored knowing that.”

On life with Blake Shelton on his ranch in Oklahoma: “It’s very tribal. Blake has a sister, she comes with her kids. We cook and get muddy and dirty. There are ATV’s. Being a mother of three boys, it’s kind of the perfect place. Everything is real now, whereas before, things didn’t seem so real.”

On what she wants to do next: “I would love to do something like [write a musical], just be a part of a writing thing, because that confidence has come back now, and I know I have something to offer. It used to be such a stress; there was so much doubt in me – now it’s like, ‘Well, just go and write and write a song.’”
